Job summary

Valley Care by Care Sante is seeking a part-time Care and Support Worker to join our team in Selston. You will provide life-changing care to adults in their own homes, with full training provided and a clear path for career progression.

Shifts are evenings 4pm-10pm, with a focus on compassionate assistance, mobility support and daily living tasks. A driving licence is preferred, and UK right to work is required.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required; full training provided.
• Good communication and empathy essential.
• Ability to follow care plans and maintain dignity.

Responsibilities

• Assist service users with personal care (washing, bathing, toilet).
• Support mobility and use of aids and equipment.
• Perform domestic tasks (bed making, tidying, laundry).
• Prepare meals and snacks, assist with eating and drinking.

We are looking for one Care and Support Worker s to join our family like team. We have one part time position available. You’ll provide life-changing care and support that enables vulnerable adults of all ages to live fulfilling lives in their own homes.

Our usual working shifts are:

• Evenings 4pm-10pm

Job Description:

• Our home care assistants are responsible for assisting service users with personal care such as washing, bathing and toilet arrangements.
• Helping service users overcome any mobility problems and other physical disabilities, including helping in the use and care of aids and personal equipment.
• Domestic tasks such as making and changing beds, tidying rooms, light cleaning, laundry and emptying commodes
• Help with eating and drinking by preparing meals, snacks and drinks
• Support with administrating medication.
• Contribute as needed to a person’s end-of-life care

Requirements:

• Have a right to work within the UK
• A driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred for this role
• No previous experience is necessary but you will need to demonstrate real compassion, be an excellent communicator and problem solver, and be committed to delivering high-quality, respectful care
