Valley Care Direct is seeking Health Care Assistants in Sheffield to provide in-home care with dignity and respect. No prior care experience required; full training and ongoing support are provided. The role offers competitive hourly pay and a supportive, family-focused team.

Available Shift Patterns

• 7:00am – 3:00pm
• 3:00pm – 10:00pm
• Alternate weekends required

What Will You Be Doing?

• Supporting people with personal care, including washing, dressing, bathing, and toileting
• Assisting with mobility and helping people safely use equipment and aids
• Preparing meals, snacks, and drinks
• Supporting individuals with medication
• Helping with household tasks such as laundry, bed making, tidying, and light cleaning
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Assisting with end-of-life care where required
• Promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing at all times
