Job summary

Lilac Alliance in Peterborough is recruiting a Deputy Branch Manager for our Home Care service. You will support the Registered Manager, oversee referrals from enquiry to start of care, and ensure runs are covered with consistent carers.

You’ll lead the office team and care staff, conduct supervisions, audits and training, and keep the service inspection-ready for CQC. The role includes an on-call rota, mileage allowances, and a clear progression path.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing domiciliary care services and supervising office teams.
• Ability to manage referrals from enquiry to start of care and ensure coverage.
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and safeguarding.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within 30 miles of Peterborough.

Responsibilities

• Deputise for the Registered Manager and lead day-to-day running of the service.
• Manage referrals from first enquiry to start of care and ensure runs are covered.
• Oversee office and care staff scheduling, supervision, and training.
• Lead audits, safeguarding, and ensure readiness for CQC inspections.
• Work with families, social workers, health professionals and commissioners; participate in on-call rota.
