Job summary

Care South is seeking Home Care Assistants to support clients in their own homes across Parkstone, Poole and surrounding areas. You will be paid for contact time and travel, with a 40p per mile mileage allowance and flexible shifts.

Driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential. Roles include full-time, part-time and bank positions with shifts 7:00-15:00 or 15:00-22:00, plus comprehensive induction and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Previous care experience is desirable but not required.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.
• Flexible in hours and able to work every other weekend.
• Strong attention to detail and reporting skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Enhanced DBS check on update service or willing to undertake one.

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred care that makes a real difference.

About The Role

Role: Home Care Assistant

Location: Parkstone, Poole and surrounding areas

Pay: £13.70 - £15.70 per hour

Travel: £12.71 per hour + 40p per mile mileage allowance

Hours: Full-time and part-time and bank positions available

Shifts: 7:00 - 15:00 and/or 15:00 - 22:00

As a Home Care Assistant with Care South, we ensure you are paid not just your contact time, but also for your travel time. On top of this we pay a generous mileage rate of 40p per mile.

Care South, a leading not for profit charity, have exciting opportunities for Home Care Assistants to join our Poole Care at Home team, supporting clients with a variety of needs in their own homes.

This Home Care Assistant role is community based, it is essential applicants hold a driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
