Job summary

Care South is seeking Home Care Assistants in Bournemouth to deliver person-centred home care. You will be paid for travel time and a mileage allowance of 40p per mile, with shifts 7:00-15:00 and 15:00-22:00. A driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential, and DBS checks are supported.

About The Role

Role: Home Care Assistant

Location: Bournemouth

Pay: £13.70 - £15.70 per hour

Travel: £12.71 per hour + 40p per mile mileage allowance

Hours: Full-time and part-time and bank positions available

Shifts: 7:00 - 15:00 and/or 15:00 - 22:00

As a Home Care Assistant with Care South, we ensure you are paid not just your contact time, but also for your travel time. On top of this we pay a generous mileage rate of 40p per mile.

About you

• Previous experience in a care setting is desirable but not required
• You will have a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Flexible in the hours you can work and ability to work every other weekend
• Strong attention to detail and reporting skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• You will hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or prepared to undertake one
