Job summary

Hales Homecare is recruiting Home Care Assistants for weekends in Newcastle. You will visit clients to support independence in their own homes, with full training provided.

Shifts run 7am–3pm and 3pm–11pm on a two-week 4/3 rota. Driving licence and own vehicle are ideal; mileage and travel time are reimbursed.

Home Care Assistant - Weekends Only

Based in Newcastle

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour + mileage at £0.30 per mile & travel time at £12.71 per hour

Shift Pattern: Two-week 4/3 rota

Working Hours: 7am – 3pm, 3pm – 11pm

Areas Covered: Newcastle, Quayside, NE15

No experience necessary – paid training and induction to ensure you feel confident in your role.

A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is ideal.

Your Role as a Home Care Assistant

As a Home Care Assistant, you’ll support individuals in Newcastle to live independently in the comfort of their own homes. Every visit is an opportunity to make someone’s day brighter and yours more fulfilling.
