Qualifications

• Foundation degree Health and Social Care or equivalent level 5 qualification or NVQ Level 3 Health + Social Care with equivalent clinical experience
• Significant experience of working as a therapy support worker or equivalent
• GCSE (A-C) – Maths and English or equivalent including functional skills level 2

Responsibilities

• Provide effective and efficient rehabilitation under supervision of qualified therapists to a caseload of adult patients with a variety of conditions requiring community rehabilitation.
• Carry out and progress rehabilitation programmes set by Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists, working alone in patient homes.
• Carry out non-complex assessments within scope of practice as required to meet patient needs.
