Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to join the Nottingham cluster. You’ll start and end each day at home, focusing on getting members back on the road in your local area. You’ll receive a RAC van, fuel card, uniform, tools and diagnostic kit to support roadside diagnostics and repairs.

As a Roadside Technician, you’ll work across the UK, delivering expert repair and diagnostics with exceptional member service, combining technical skill with a customer-first approach.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent with 2+ years’ experience, or 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving license with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics.
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Tackle calls at customers’ locations and ensure quick, confident solutions.
