Job summary

**We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) with experience supporting students with social communication and interaction needs. This role is ideal for someone passionate about inclusion and skilled in helping young people with a wide range of Special Educational Needs to thrive in a mainstream secondary environment.**

What skills and experience we're looking for

• Plan and deliver high-impact academic interventions (particularly in numeracy) for pupils with EHCPs or significant learning needs.
• Working within our experienced SEND team, you will plan and deliver small-group and 1:1 interventions, model effective communication strategies, and collaborate closely with teachers, the SENCo and external professionals.
• Use primary pedagogical approaches to support KS3 pupils working below age-related expectations.
• Provide targeted in-class support where necessary to promote engagement, understanding, and independence.
• You will also support and guide LSAs, helping to embed best practice across the school.
• We are looking for a proactive and reflective practitioner who is organised, confident, and committed to supporting every learner to achieve their full potential.
