Simply Education Ltd is seeking an empathetic Teaching Assistant to support students with SEMH/SEND needs. The role focuses on academic and behavioural support within a small team, helping students engage and progress in their learning journey.
You will work in a nurturing, supportive environment, building strong relationships and contributing to personalised strategies for each pupil. Core hours run 9am-3pm, with some extended CPD days.
Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people?
Do you have the enthusiasm, resilience and commitment to support students who have experienced significant challenges in their education?
We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and compassionate individual to join our welcoming and dedicated team at our independent special needs day school.
We support young people across KS3, KS4 and KS5 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Autism Spectrum Disorder and other complex needs. All of our students have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), and many have experienced significantly disrupted educational journeys.
This is a rewarding opportunity to become part of a supportive team where you can build positive relationships with students and help them achieve their personal, social and academic potential.
As a member of our team, you will play an important role in supporting students both academically and behaviourally. You will help create a calm, safe and purposeful learning environment, working alongside colleagues to ensure every young person has the opportunity to succeed.
Our approach is underpinned by the principles of Attachment Theory, and we believe strongly in getting to know each student as an individual. Our small-school approach allows staff to develop meaningful relationships with students and provide personalised support based on their individual needs.
If you are enthusiastic about working with young people, believe in their potential and are committed to improving their life chances, we would love to hear from you.
Join a team where relationships matter, every student is valued as an individual, and the work you do can genuinely change lives.
