Ormiston Latimer Academy is seeking a caring, creative, and resilient HLTA to join our team. Reporting to the Head of School, the role shapes how we support every learner to feel safe, settled and ready to learn, including leading mental health and wellbeing initiatives.

You will collaborate with teachers and SEND Co to plan for individuals, small groups, and classes, and you could line manage Learning Support Practitioners while engaging with families and partner agencies to secure holistic

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
• Experience across a range of education settings
• Expert knowledge in at least three SEN/SEBD interventions such as anger management, dyscalculia or restorative justice

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver learning for individuals, small groups, and whole classes
• Line manage and train Learning Support Practitioners
• Gather learner and parent voice each term and support enrichment sessions/trips
• Work with partner agencies to ensure holistic support for learners
• Support learners as they reintegrate into mainstream education and promote inclusion
