Job summary

Ormiston Latimer Academy is seeking a caring, creative HLTA to join our close-knit team in London. You will plan and deliver learning for individuals, small groups and whole classes, while leading on mental health and wellbeing initiatives.

You’ll work with Teachers, SENDCo and families to support each learner to feel safe, settled and ready to learn. You’ll line manage Learning Support Practitioners and help run enrichment and trips.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or have considerable experience across education settings.
• Expert knowledge in at least three SEN/SEBD intervention areas such as dyscalculia, anger management or restorative justice.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver learning for individuals, small groups and classes.
• Work with teachers and SENDCo to support learners’ progress.
• Line manage and train Learning Support Practitioners.
• Gather learner and parent voice each term, support enrichment sessions and trips.
• Collaborate with partner agencies to ensure holistic support.
