Job summary

Ormiston Latimer Academy is seeking a caring HLTA to join our close-knit team. Reporting to the Head of School, you will lead on mental health and wellbeing, plan adaptive learning, and support learners through interventions such as literacy and anger management.

You will line manage Learning Support Practitioners and work with families and agencies to ensure every pupil thrives. Educated to degree level or with substantial experience across settings, you will bring expert SEN/SEBD knowledge and

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or have considerable experience across education settings.
• Expert knowledge in at least three SEN/SEBD interventions such as dyscalculia, anger management or restorative justice.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver learning for individuals, small groups and whole classes.
• Line manage and trainLearning Support Practitioners.
• Gather learner and parent voice each term and support enrichment sessions, rewards and trips.
• Collaborate with partner agencies to ensure holistic support for learners.
• Support learners as they move back into mainstream schools and champion inclusion.
