Job summary

Coast and Vale Learning Trust is seeking a dedicated teaching assistant to work closely with our teachers and support pupils to become confident, independent learners.

You'll plan, prepare and deliver engaging activities, monitor progress, and assist with effective classroom management. Commitment to confidentiality and strong literacy/numeracy skills are essential; NVQ3/HLTA or equivalent is preferred. This role supports inclusive learning across our primary-aged pupils.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging learning activities for pupils.
• Monitor, assess and record pupils' progress.
• Lead the classroom in the teacher's absence and maintain learning continuity.
• Support effective classroom management alongside the class teacher.
• Design and deliver individualised plans for pupils with SEND.
