Job summary

Veritas Education Recruitment is partnering with a welcoming primary school in Colne to recruit an enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support learning across year groups. The successful candidate will deliver planned lessons, support pupils with varying abilities, provide cover during teacher absence, and work with teachers and leaders to raise attainment.

HLTA status or relevant qualifications are required, with proven primary school experience, strong classroom management,

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned lessons across a range of year groups when required.
• Support pupils' learning both in the classroom and through targeted intervention groups.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and senior leaders to raise attainment.
• Provide classroom cover during teacher absence, PPA time, and training.
• Support pupils with a range of learning needs, including SEN where required.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school and promote a positive learning culture.
