Job summary

The Catholic Partnership Supply Service (CPSS) are looking to appoint a talented HLTA in Sandswell starting ASAP until Christmas, working 5 days per week in a primary school setting.

The HLTA will cover classes and small groups across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, with responsibilities including supporting SEN pupils. Applicants should have or be eligible for HLTA-related qualifications and school experience; DBS and UK-based working status are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold or be eligible for HLTA level 2+ qualification.
• University degree or equivalent considered.
• Childcare qualifications with school experience considered.
• Health and social care background with school experience or phonics knowledge considered.
• Unqualified teaching assistants with classroom experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Cover classes and small groups across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
• Support SEN pupils as part of the role.
• Work with CPSS in Birmingham area through agency.

Education

Job description

The Catholic Partnership Supply Service (CPSS) are looking to appoint a talented HLTA in the Sandswell starting ASAP until Christmas working 5 days per week.

This role requires the successful HLTA to cover classes and small groups across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. you will have a relevant qualification and experience of covering whole classes in a primary school setting. Experience of supporting SEN pupils is essential as this will be part of the role, when working with small groups.

CPSS have an outstanding track record of helping teaching assistants launch or relaunch their careers. We work with newly qualified teaching assistants and teaching assistants in between jobs.

Qualifications we will consider:

• Teaching assistant related (level 2+)
• University graduates
• Childcare related (level 2+)
• Health and social care related (with either school experience or basic knowledge of phonics)
• Unqualified teaching assistants with classroom experience
