An Outstanding secondary school in Coventry is seeking a passionate and dedicated History Teacher to join its history department from September 2026 on a long-term supply basis.
The successful candidate will teach History across KS3 to KS5, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons that develop students' historical knowledge, analytical skills, critical thinking, and understanding of significant events and periods. You will support students in making strong progress through their studies, including preparation for GCSE and A Level qualifications.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons, assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment. You will uphold high expectations for behaviour and achievement while encouraging students to question, analyse, debate, and develop a genuine interest in History.
