Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a secondary school in Fallowfield seeking a qualified History Teacher to join on a full-time, long-term basis from October. You will teach History across KS3 and KS4, plan engaging lessons, and support pupils to make strong academic progress.

The successful candidate will hold QTS with History, have solid knowledge of the curriculum, and excellent classroom management, communication, and organisational skills. PAYE role with competitive daily rates.

Start Date: October

Salary: £170 - £250 per day

Are you confident in delivering engaging lessons while maintaining excellent classroom management?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a secondary school based in Fallowfield, which has been awarded a 'Good' OFSTED rating. The school provides a positive learning environment and is looking for a dedicated History Teacher to join their team.

The school is looking to take on a History Teacher on a full-time, long-term basis from October. The successful History Teacher will teach History across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, planning and delivering engaging lessons while supporting pupils to make strong academic progress.

The successful History Teacher will have:

• QTS with a History specialism (ECTs are also welcomed to apply)
• Experience teaching History across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4
• Strong knowledge of the History curriculum
• Excellent classroom management
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A positive and adaptable approach to teaching
