Job summary

Bright Star Talent Limited is seeking a passionate History Teacher for a September start at a secondary school in Birmingham. You will deliver engaging History lessons, assess pupil progress and contribute to curriculum planning within Key Stages 3 and 4.

QTS or recognised teaching qualification is required, with a DBS Update Service registration. You will build positive relationships with students and colleagues, supporting a stimulating learning environment across the department.

What we're looking for:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised teaching qualification
• Strong subject knowledge across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Previous experience teaching History within a secondary school
• A confident and engaging teaching style
• Someone who can build positive relationships with students
• Strong classroom management skills
• A genuine passion for History and helping young people succeed
• A DBS registered on the Update Service is essential
