Are you a passionate and committed History Teacher looking for a new opportunity from January?

We are working with a highly regarded secondary school in the West Bromwichwho are looking to appoint an enthusiastic History Teacher to join their team from January 2027. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ECT looking for a supportive school where they can develop their career and make a real impact with students.

The Role

The successful History Teacher will:

• Teach History across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons
• Inspire students to develop a genuine interest in History
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Monitor and assess student progress effectively
• Contribute to the wider life of the Humanities department
• Build strong relationships with students and colleagues
• Maintain high expectations of behaviour, achievement and progress

About You

We are keen to hear from qualified History Teachers who are passionate about their subject and committed to achieving the best outcomes for every student.

You will ideally have:

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
• Experience teaching History within a secondary school
• Strong subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4
• A positive and enthusiastic approach to teaching
• Excellent classroom management skills
• The ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities
• A commitment to professional development and continuous improvement
