Job summary

Aspire People Limited is recruiting a History Teacher for a Stoke-on-Trent secondary school to start in September 2026. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, teaching KS3 and KS4 with KS5 experience advantageous.

The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging lessons, assess student progress and maintain a positive learning environment with potential for permanent appointment for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching History at secondary level.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Inspires, motivates and engages students in History.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, challenging, creative History lessons for KS3/KS4.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about History and wants to inspire students to understand the past, develop their analytical skills and achieve their full potential.

THE ROLE

• History Teacher
• Secondary school - Stoke on Trent
• Start date: September 2026
• Full-time, Monday to Friday
• Teaching KS3 and KS4 History
• KS5 experience would be advantageous
