Job summary

Best in Class is seeking a History Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Bradford (BD6) on a full-time basis. The role requires delivering engaging History lessons to KS3 and KS4, inspiring students and helping them prepare for GCSEs.

• Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Have experience teaching History within a secondary school setting.
• Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for History.
• Be confident delivering lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Have excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Be able to motivate and engage students of varying abilities.
• Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
• Hold a valid Enhanced DBS, ideally on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one.

The Role
