Job summary

National Trust, The Vyne, is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to lead the delivery of facilities management across a historic site. You will manage budgets, projects and resources to keep the property welcoming, safe and sustainable for thousands of visitors.

You will oversee a small team of staff and volunteers, champion safety and compliance, and build strong relationships with contractors and internal partners to deliver operational and conservation objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management and maintenance.
• Knowledge of health, safety, environmental and compliance requirements.
• Experience leading and developing teams.
• Strong financial and procurement skills.
• Knowledge of building fabric and conservation principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of facilities management across The Vyne, including historic buildings and infrastructure.
• Manage budgets, projects and resources to keep sites welcoming, safe and sustainable.
• Champion safety and compliance and drive continuous improvement.
• Supervise staff and volunteers and build strong external partnerships.
