The Vyne, a National Trust property in Basingstoke, seeks a Facilities Manager to care for historic buildings and visitor facilities, supporting a high‑quality guest experience for the hundreds of thousands of annual visitors.

You will lead operations across the site, ensuring safety, sustainability and effective visitor services while working with staff, volunteers and contractors to deliver the Trust’s strategic priorities.

Qualificações

• Strong understanding and experience in facilities management and maintenance.
• Knowledge of health, safety, environmental and compliance requirements relevant to facilities management.
• Experience of managing compliance, risk assessments and operational procedures.
• Understanding of building fabric and conservation principles.
• Strong commercial, analytical and financial management skills.
• Experience leading and developing high‑performing team.
• Experience in procurement, contracts, supply chain and contractor management.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills with a wide range of stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Lead delivery of facilities management services across our site, ensuring safe, welcoming and sustainable places.
• Maintain historic buildings and essential infrastructure, manage projects, budgets and resources.
• Champion safety and compliance and embed a culture of best practice.
• Lead a team of staff and volunteers and develop skills.
• Build relationships with colleagues, contractors and partners to meet operational goals.
