Job summary

Selwood Ltd in Nottingham is seeking a Hire/Sales Controller to join our pump hire team. You will manage inbound enquiries, raise quotations and contracts, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure equipment, transport and workforce coverage.

The role requires a confident self-starter with strong communication and administrative skills, plus proficiency in Microsoft Office. You will prioritise tasks and maintain accurate paperwork across contracts, orders and invoices.

Qualifications

• Excellent planning and organisational skills.
• Ability to build and maintain good customer relationships.
• Ability to prioritise workload.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
• Proven ability of learning new skills and or products.
• A good understanding of IT systems including Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure.
• A good level of problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Deal with in-bound calls and emails and liaising with internal and external stakeholders to take ownership of enquiries.
• Prioritise workload and ensure day-to-day customer requirements are met with complete paperwork including hire/sales quotations, contracts, POs and invoices.
• Ensure contracts, transport documentation and paperwork are up to date on the systems.
• Liaise with internal teams to ensure equipment, transport and workforce are in place to cover depot and customer requirements.
