Job summary

Pertemps Northampton in Northampton is seeking a temporary Customer Hire and Sales Coordinator, based on the hire desk in our customer office. You will manage around 300 daily tickets, resolve queries, and liaise with client depots to meet requirements.

This fast‑paced role involves handling invoices and credit issues, collating KPI data, and producing performance reports, with opportunities to identify sales growth.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in customer service, preferably in the Construction/Hire industry.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while building strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Excellent administration skills with MS Office and strong attention to detail.
• Driving licence is preferred but not essential.
• Has 10 divisions offering the hire of equipment throughout the UK.

Responsibilities

• Manage approximately 300 daily tickets and handle customer queries.
• Liaise with client depots to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Resolve invoice and credit issues and collate KPI data.
• Produce performance reports and identify opportunities for sales growth.
