Job summary

Carrington West is assisting a growing highways contractor to appoint a Works Manager for a Goole-based highways scheme in East Yorkshire. You will lead site teams, manage programme delivery and ensure compliance with NEC contract requirements and safety standards.

Ideal candidates will have a proven background in highways/civil engineering, strong leadership and the ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality infrastructure on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Experience as Works Manager or similar in highways/civil engineering.
• Strong track record delivering highways infrastructure on time and within budget.
• Knowledge of NEC contracts and health/safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage on-site teams to deliver a highways scheme in Goole.
• Ensure works are safe, on programme and within budget.
• Coordinate labour, plant, materials and subcontractors across activities.
• Collaborate with commercial, planning, design and client teams to deliver projects.
