Job summary

Carrington West is seeking a Contract Manager to lead major highways and civil engineering schemes across the UK from Featherstone. You will manage project teams, coordinate with clients, and drive safety and quality throughout delivery.

The role requires NEC contract knowledge, SMSTS, CSCS, and a full UK driving licence, with travel across Yorkshire and beyond. A competitive salary up to £75,000 is offered based on experience.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• NVQ Level 6 or 7 qualification.
• CSCS Manager Card and SMSTS are desirable.
• Experience with NEC contracts and project controls.
• Full UK Driving Licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of highways and civil engineering schemes from inception to completion.
• Manage Project Managers and operational teams to meet programme and financial targets.
• Build strong client and stakeholder relationships across the UK.
• Oversee safety, quality, and environmental compliance on site.
• Support tender submissions and pre-construction activities.
