Carrington West is recruiting a Works Manager to lead a highways scheme in Goole, East Yorkshire. You will take ownership of day-to-day delivery, manage site teams and subcontractors, and ensure works progress safely, on programme and within budget.

You will drive collaboration with commercial, planning, design and client teams, uphold NEC contract requirements, and maintain quality and environmental standards across the project.

Qualificações

• Experience as Works Manager or similar in highways/civil engineering.
• Strong background delivering highways infrastructure schemes.
• Experience managing programmes, resources and budgets.
• Good understanding of NEC contracts and contractual requirements.
• Strong health, safety, environmental and quality standards knowledge.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Take ownership of day‑to‑day operational delivery of a highways scheme, ensuring safety, efficiency, programme and budget adherence.
• Lead and manage site teams (Foremen, Supervisors, Engineers, subcontractors).
• Oversee daily delivery, ensure milestones are achieved.
• Coordinate multiple activities, manage labour, plant, materials and subcontractors.
• Collaborate with commercial, planning, design and client teams to ensure project delivery.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety, environment and quality across the project.
• Monitor performance, identify risks and implement mitigation measures.
• Ensure works comply with NEC contracts and company procedures.
