Job summary

Carrington West is seeking an experienced Highway Engineer in East Yorkshire for an initial 6-month contract with extension potential. You will lead design and delivery of highway improvement and maintenance schemes from feasibility to construction, working with internal teams, contractors and stakeholders.

The role requires proficiency in AutoCAD and Site3D, NEC4 contracts, cost estimating and budget monitoring, with site supervision during construction.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering highway schemes from feasibility to construction.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Site3D for 2D/3D designs.
• Experience preparing NEC4 contract docs and BoQs.

Responsibilities

• Designing and delivering highway improvement and maintenance schemes from feasibility through to construction.
• Producing 2D and 3D highway designs and drawings using AutoCAD and Site3D.
• Preparing NEC4 contract and tender documentation, including specifications and BoQs.
• Undertaking feasibility studies and detailed designs for highway schemes.
• Providing site supervision and budget monitoring during construction.
