Job summary

Ringway Jacobs in the UK is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of highway and civil engineering schemes from feasibility through on-site delivery. You will manage external consultants, budgets, and multi-disciplinary teams to meet client objectives and programme targets.

The role requires a recognised project management qualification (APM PMQ or PRINCE2), extensive multi-project experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Project and Excel, NEC3 contracts (Options C/E).

Qualifications

• Recognised project management qualification (APM PMQ or PRINCE2) essential.
• Experience in managing multiple projects essential.
• Knowledge of budgetary management and control measures essential.
• Experience using Microsoft Project and Excel essential.
• Experience with NEC3 form of contract, Options C and E.

Responsibilities

• Develop and administer allotted projects and programmes including managing external consultants.
• Ensure strong budgetary control and programme control and represent the service at client meetings.
• Manage multi-disciplined teams from across the organisation to deliver project objectives for the sponsor/client.
• Identify and manage risks before they impact project delivery.
• Drive early construction initiatives to deliver a project on time and programme.
• Produce project plans with adequate stakeholder consultation.
• Ensure governance is followed and change control is administered effectively.
• Assist with the production and presentation of monthly information requested by the service area.
