Job summary

Paramount Personnel is seeking experienced Highways Operatives for North Somerset on temporary and permanent roles. You will work on planned and reactive highways maintenance tasks including patching, potholes, kerbing, drainage, and slabbing.

39 hours per week with overtime available at enhanced rates. Candidates should hold a CSC card and a valid driver's license; a Street Works card and HGV would be desirable to secure higher hourly rates.

Qualifications

• Experience in highways maintenance tasks such as patching, potholes and kerbing.
• Ability to work on planned and reactive highway works.
• Comfort with manual tasks and shift work.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned and reactive highways maintenance tasks including patching, potholes, kerbing, drainage and slabs.
• Assist with winter maintenance when seasonally required.

Highways Operative - Temp - North Somerset

Rates of pay from £13.50 to £17.15 per hour with overtime available (at overtime rates) standby and enhancements for night work all rates of pay are dependent on experience

Location North Somerset

39 Hours per Week

Temporary and Permanent positions

Our client is looking for experienced Highways Operatives to work on planned and reactive works. All works are highways maintenance related such as patching/potholes/kerbing/drainage/slabbing etc

Winter Maintenance also in season for those with the winter maintenance ticket and HGV

You will need to have a CSC card and driver's license; in addition, a street works card and HGV would be desirable to obtain the higher hourly rate as would a winter maintenance ticket.
