M Group Highways in the UK is recruiting a capable Highway Maintenance Supervisor to support our growing programme of planned and reactive works. You will lead on-site teams, manage daily targets and ensure safe, on-time delivery within budget.
You’ll work closely with our commercial and area teams, develop buildability reviews, monitor costs and progress, and uphold our safety culture through tool-box talks and daily briefings.

You’ll be joining our Highways maintenance team, as the UK’s number one highway maintenance contractor, our teams use the latest innovations to create effective solutions. We offer a range of services including planned and reactive maintenance and highway improvement schemes.

You’ll undertake pre-works reviews to ensure buildability.
Continual focus on operational gross margins of all work that you are delivering, from the pre-works planning stage, to on-site supervision.
You’ll be working with our commercial team, establish estimates based on an agreed schedule of rates.
Establishing a target scheme programme and monitor your works, review and hot cost progress.
You’ll monitor all works activities to ensure the programme remains on track, of the right quality and is being delivered in a safe manner.
You’ll also match resource needs to ensure the programme delivers on time and budget and provide regular updates on ASTA (programmes) and Causeway (costing) or any other specific systems.
We’ll ask you to manage the gangs daily, setting work targets, undertaking regular developmental reviews, and dealing with all issues that may arise with support from the Area Manager. deliver tool-box-talks and any safety briefing’s as they arise. Deliver communication plan as agreed in annual improvement imitative.’
