Job summary

Amey in Glasgow is seeking a General Labourer to join the Woodside Viaduct project on a fixed-term contract of at least six months. You will support on-site operations, maintain cleanliness, and ensure safe, orderly work areas.

Working a 42-hour week from Monday to Friday, 07:30 to 16:30, you will assist with loading, unloading, site setup, and basic tools under the supervision of the Site Manager. A valid CSCS card is required.

Qualifications

• CSCS card holder required.
• Previous labouring experience on construction sites.
• Good level of physical fitness.
• Reliable with strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a team.
• Knowledge of health and safety on site.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials and deliveries.
• Keep the site clean and tidy; waste removal and sweeping.
• Seasonal maintenance.
• Prepare and set up work areas.
• Move materials and equipment around the site.
• Follow instructions from Site Manager or Supervisor.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Operate basic tools as required.
• Support general site duties as needed.
