Job summary

National Highways in the North West region invites applications for a Construction Assurance Manager to oversee delivery of capital schemes, ensuring projects meet time, cost, quality and safety standards while maintaining customer experience.

The role is based from Warrington, Preston, Penrith or Manchester, and involves travel; you will act as on-site link between project teams and supply chain, escalating issues through the governance framework.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree is desirable or proven highways/structures experience.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations (CDM) and quality management.
• Experience with NEC 4 ECC contracts and on-site stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Assure completion of planned works to agreed standards.
• Escalate on-site issues and provide timely progress updates.
• Coordinate with project managers and supply chain partners.
• Maintain governance and compliance with DMRB, MCHW and chapter 8.
