Job summary

National Highways is seeking a Construction Assurance Manager for the North West region to oversee delivery of capital schemes on civil engineering sites. You will report to the Construction Manager and ensure time, cost, quality and safety standards are met while preserving customer experience.

The role is based from one of our offices in Warrington, Preston, Penrith or Manchester with travel as required. You will coordinate with Project Managers and supply chain partners, provide regular

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level in relevant engineering discipline (desirable)
• Experience on high-speed trunk roads/motorways is desirable
• IOSH or SMSTS preferred

Responsibilities

• Assure completion of planned works to agreed standards and escalate concerns as needed
• Ensure works conform to CDM regulations, HSE legislation, DMRB and MCHW
• Provide regular feedback on progress, risks and early warnings to Project Managers
• Act as liaison between supply chain partners and coordinate delivery programme
• Maintain governance and ensure buildability reviews on all projects
• Manage on-site safety, environment and quality management practices
