National Highways is seeking a Construction Assurance Manager to support the North West region. You will ensure schemes meet time, cost, quality, and safety targets, coordinating with project teams and supply chain across Warrington, Preston, Penrith or Manchester offices.

The role requires strong engineering background, knowledge of highways standards and on-site safety practices, with cross-functional collaboration and travel as needed.

Competenze

• Degree or equivalent engineering experience in highways/structures.
• Knowledge of CDM, HSE, DMRB, MCHW and Chapter 8.
• IOSH or SMSTS qualification preferred.

Mansioni

• Assure completion of planned works to agreed standards and escalate concerns.
• Ensure works are constructed in line with CDM, HSE, DMRB and MCHW.
• Provide regular feedback on scheme progress, risks and early warnings.
• Coordinate delivery programme with key supply chain partners and carry out buildability reviews.
• Maintain liaison with Project Managers and Procurement on Early Warnings and Compensation Events.

NEC4 ECC familiarity
