Zusammenfassung

National Highways is seeking a Construction Assurance Manager to join the South East region from the Basingstoke office. You will represent the company on civil engineering construction and maintenance sites, ensuring schemes meet time, cost, quality and safety standards while protecting customer experience.

You will drive on-site governance, coordinate with supply chain partners, and provide early warning insights to the Construction Manager.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in an engineering discipline or proven highways maintenance/construction experience.
• Knowledge of site-based processes, health and safety, environmental and quality management; familiarity with DMRB and MCHW.
• IOSH/SMSTS preferred.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with ability to lead geographically dispersed teams.
• Experience with NEC 4 ECC contracts.

Aufgaben

• Assuring completion of planned works to agreed standards and escalate concerns to the Construction Manager.
• Ensuring works comply with CDM, HSE, Chapter 8, DMRB and MCHW requirements.
• Provide regular feedback on scheme construction progress, risks, and early warnings to Project Managers; act as first point of escalation for on-site issues.
• Coordinate delivery programmes with key supply chain partners and perform buildability reviews on projects.
• Maintain liaison with Project Managers and Commercial & Procurement teams, providing timely information on Early Warnings and Compensation Events.
