Job summary

Wmjobs, on behalf of Shropshire Council, is recruiting a Network Co-ordinator to help manage highway works and ensure safe, well-coordinated activity across Shropshire.

You will assist the Network Co-ordination Manager with license assessments, permit processing, and collaboration with utility companies and works promoters, while building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to plan and coordinate network occupancy and works.
• Experience in licensing, permits or traffic management is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist Network Co-ordination Manager to enable statutory duties.
• Undertake license assessments and processing of permits for highway works.
• Identify collaboration opportunities and coordinate with utility companies and promoters.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
