Job summary

Oxfordshire County Council is seeking an entry-level Network Co-ordination role within the Streetworks team. You will assist in coordinating highway works, reviewing traffic management plans, and ensuring compliance with national legislation and local priorities.

Training will support growth in auditing and permit schemes, with a focus on learning and progression. You will work under supervision to monitor works by public utilities, developers and contractors, applying penalties where required

Qualifications

• NRSWA/TMA knowledge desirable
• SROH knowledge desirable
• Statutory auditing knowledge advantageous

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, approve and inspect highway works.
• Plan and review diversion routes and monitor street works.
• Enforce conditions, issue fines and remove non-compliant promoters.
• Respond to network challenges and resolve local issues with communities.
