Band 7 – Full Time Permanent Post

(Part time hours will be considered)

We are seeking a forward-thinking Physiotherapist to join our dynamic integrated respiratory physiotherapy team, working across both acute and community settings.

You will collaborate with respiratory physiotherapy service leads in Dundee to develop and deliver a person-centred, evidence-based respiratory physiotherapy pathway. This varied and complex role includes managing a clinical caseload across hospital wards (medical respiratory patients), outpatient respiratory clinics, and group or home-based pulmonary rehabilitation programs. You will contribute to the Respiratory on call rota, along with a 7 day service.

You should demonstrate specialist clinical skills and knowledge gained through postgraduate education and continuous professional development, supported by a comprehensive portfolio. You should have a strong understanding of best practice guidelines, as well as experience in quality improvement methodology.

Our physiotherapy departments are friendly, collaborative, and supportive, with strong academic links to universities in Aberdeen and Edinburgh offering student placements. The Tayside Physiotherapy Service is committed to delivering outstanding patient care through continuous skill development, service innovation, and excellence. Opportunities for development include Non Medical Prescribing and Lung Ultrasound training.
