Nordex Group is seeking a Wind Turbine Service Technician based at Burn O'Whilk Windfarm in the Scottish Highlands. The role requires working 37 hours per week with overtime and on-call at weekends; candidates should live within an hour of the windfarm and be prepared for out-of-hours work to maintain turbine availability.

Responsibilities include fault finding, data analysis, and implementing action plans to improve fleet performance. NVQ3 or equivalent and a UK/EU driving licence are required.

Qualificações

• Experience in mechanical or electrical industry.
• Ability to read electrical, hydraulic and mechanical diagrams.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
• Full UK/EU driving licence.

Responsabilidades

• On-site performance analysis and action plan implementation.
• Work with Technicians and Back Office staff for on-the-job demonstrations.
• Support on-site turbine improvements on problem turbines.
• Provide on-site software and hardware updates.
• Support on-line and on-phone technical support.
• Create reports on turbine components.
• Parameter disabling and alarm change handling when necessary.
