Job summary

Nordex Group is seeking a Wind Turbine Service Technician based at Kilbraur Windfarm in the Scottish Highlands. The role involves servicing and maintaining Nordex turbines, performing repairs, fault finding and implementing action plans to maximise availability.

Overtime and weekend on-call duties are required, with a 1-hour radius from the windfarm. You will work with mechanical and electrical systems, reading diagrams and data to diagnose issues, and provide on-site software/hardware updates.

Qualifications

• Experience inMechanical/Electrical industries with ability to read electrical, hydraulic and mechanical diagrams.
• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification in a relevant field.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex turbine issues.

Responsibilities

• On-site analysis of turbine performance and implement action plans.
• Collaborate with technicians and back office for on-site demonstrations.
• Provide software and hardware updates to turbines and systems.
• Create reports on turbine performance and component status.
• Support remote and on-site technical support as required.
