Nordex is seeking a Wind Turbine Service Technician for Kilbraur Windfarm in the Scottish Highlands. The role covers servicing and maintenance of Nordex turbines with overtime and on-call requirements, living within 1 hour of the windfarm.

The candidate should have Mechanical or Electrical training (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) and be capable of reading electrical, hydraulic and mechanical diagrams. You will work with a team and engage in on-site and remote support activities.

Formación

• The ideal candidate will have experience in Mechanical or Electrical fields and be able to read electrical, hydraulic and mechanical diagrams.
• Time-served or technical college qualification at NVQ Level 3 or equivalent is required.
• Ability to identify problems, extract information from data, and develop workable solutions.

Responsabilidades

• On-site performance analysis and action plan implementation.
• Collaborate with Technicians and Back Office to perform on-the-job demonstrations.
• Support on-site improvements on problem turbines.
• Provide on-site software and hardware updates.
• Offer online and telephone technical support.
• Create reports on turbines or components.
• Manage parameter disabling and alarm changes when needed.
