Job summary

The Supply Register is seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join on a part-time basis to cover long-term needs with a view to possibly becoming permanent. You will work closely with teachers to support a range of students and classroom activities, including one-on-one support and creating a positive learning environment.

Ideal candidates will hold Level 3 HLTA and bring strong communication skills, empathy, and a flexible approach across year groups.

Qualifications

• Has to be Level 3 HLTA Qualified.
• Previous HLTA or similar support role preferred but not essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work across different year groups.
• Relevant qualifications in education or childcare advantageous but not essential.

Primary Higher Level Teaching Assistant

We are currently seeking dedicated and adaptable Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team on a part time basis to cover long-term with a potential of becoming a permanent staff to provide valuable support to our students and teachers.

Position Overview: As a teaching Assistant, you will work closely with classroom teachers to provide essential support to students across various age groups and abilities.

Your role will involve assisting with classroom activities, providing one-on-one support to students, and helping to maintain a positive and stimulating learning environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, teachers, and parents.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the learning and development of students.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work across different year groups and classroom settings.
• Relevant qualifications in education or childcare are advantageous but not essential.
