Job summary

Yeovil College seeks an Institutional Outreach Officer to raise aspirations and connect young people with Higher Education. You will lead NSSW collaboration activities across Somerset, Devon and Cornwall, coordinating events, visits, and resources from planning through delivery.

The role emphasizes relationship-building with schools, UCAS knowledge, and widening access, with a focus on disadvantaged learners and progression into Higher Education.

Qualifications

• Requires Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Shows passion for raising aspirations and helping young people.
• Collaborative approach with commitment to widening access.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and deliver outreach activities.
• Organise events, university visits and student ambassador opportunities.
• Develop resources and monitor impact of activities.
