Job summary

Get Oldham Working is offering a Higher Apprentice position in Oldham. You will work 36.66 hours per week in a fixed-term 2‑year contract, earning apprentice pay (£19,116–£24,086). The role is office-based, welcoming you to gain hands-on experience while studying for a recognised qualification.

You’ll support the team with admin tasks, events and customer enquiries, and you’ll develop skills in data handling, partnerships, and continuous service improvement.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organise and prioritise workload while meeting deadlines.
• Confidently use Microsoft Office applications and learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the Get Oldham Working team with accurate records.
• Support delivery of employment, skills and apprenticeship programmes and events.
• Respond to customer enquiries and act as first point of contact.
• Assist with data entry, monitoring information and maintaining databases.
• Collaborate with colleagues and partners to support service delivery.
