KPI Recruiting Ltd is recruiting an experienced Prison Chef to join a busy catering operation in the YO41 1PS area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and experienced chef to work within a large-scale catering environment, preparing meals for approximately 1,500 people every day.

The role involves preparing and cooking meals in a high-volume setting, following menus and portion-control requirements, maintaining high standards of hygiene, and working as part of a professional kitchen

Qualifications

• Experience as a Chef in a large-volume operation.
• Advanced DBS or willingness to obtain.
• Immediate start availability.
• Reliable and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals in high-volume environment.
• Cook for approximately 1,500 meals per day.
• Follow menus, recipes and portion-control requirements.
• Maintain food hygiene and safety standards.
• Work as part of a professional kitchen team.
• Ensure meals are prepared and served on time.
• Keep kitchen clean, safe and organised.
• Follow site health, safety and security procedures.
