You will apply HMRC tax codes and student loan variations, manage third-party deductions, and address payroll queries from staff and care home managers. On-site parking and other benefits are included.

Qualifikationen

• Experience handling high-volume payroll.
• Experience with Sage payroll processing.
• Familiarity with HMRC tax codes and student loan variations.
• Experience with auto-enrolment pension schemes.

Aufgaben

• Input and process data for the four-weekly payroll within Sage.
• Update employee changes including new starters, leavers, sickness, and maternity.
• Perform manual calculations and produce four-weekly payroll reports.
• Apply HMRC data including tax codes and student loan variations.
• Calculate and process third-party deductions (attachment of earnings, child maintenance).
• Manage workplace pension records and submit payments to the People’s Pension by the deadline.
• Reconcile and maintain data across Sage Payroll, Cool Care, and pension systems.
• Provide guidance on payroll queries to employees, care home managers, and company directors.
