Qualifications

• Experience handling high volume payroll.
• Proficient with inputting and processing data for four-weekly payroll in Sage.
• Ability to update employee changes including starters, leavers, sickness and maternity.
• Knowledge of HMRC data including tax codes and student loan variations.

Responsibilities

• Input and process data for the four-weekly payroll within Sage.
• Update employee changes including new starters, leavers, sickness, and maternity.
• Perform manual calculations and produce the four-weekly payroll reports.
• Apply statutory data from HMRC including tax codes and student loan variations.
• Calculate and process third-party deductions such as attachment of earnings and child maintenance.
• Manage workplace pension records and submit payments to the People's Pension by the deadline.
• Reconcile and maintain accurate data across Sage Payroll, Cool Care, and pension systems.
• Provide guidance on payroll queries to employees and managers.
